This track is another one that is bound to be a favorite. It's like a serenade to Pretty in Jerome's attempt to woo her. "One in a Million" is Ne-Yo's third single. It's a typical Ne-Yo song talking about love and its struggles. "Genuine Only" could be your favorite song of the album. They are "Beautiful Monster," "Genuine Only," "One in a Million" and "Crazy Love." There are about four good songs worth listening to.
It is the only up-tempo song and really stands out. It took until "Beautiful Monster" to wake me up. These ballads are just not his best or most creative writing. The story line Ne-Yo created is pretty cool the problem is that all his songs are just too slow. Although the idea for the album is solid, and the songs fit, it just does not have those hits or singles you expect from Ne-Yo. So the big question is: Does "Libra Scale" do the same?
